It’s going to be a strange Halloween this year but it doesn’t mean we can’t still have fun and share some goodies! This no fuss, hands off favor will not only keep your treats clean but sure to please everyBODY!
I wanted to share a printable file with you all before we maybe in shelter mode. We may be stuck inside for 50 days or more so we decided (ok, I decided because Tru is NOT on thrilled!) that daily we will learn about 1 state.
One year candy was banned for Valentines! So we got creative and wrapped up our treats to look like candy. We happened to be in Chinatown few weeks before for Lunar New Year celebrations so we grabbed a box of these snappers. The color went perfectly with the packaging so I was happy.
This was one of my favorite Valentine’s we did together. I had little tru make 1 design with black marker. I sized it so 4 can fit onto 1 letter size sheet. I scanned and set up a sheet to make prints from my laser printer. Before trimming I had him do shades of pink watercolor swashes. Each sheet was different and messier the better! This worked great because the little ones feel like they had a big part of the making. Also, since it’s black and white you can have your child write their friends name in black and it looks like each was hand made!

This past weekend we threw a last birthday and farewell party for Olive and Charlie. Since it was so close to Halloween, Bee thought it’d be fun to do a Little Red Riding Hood theme and it worked out perfectly because the kids were so into the costume!
